Why not spend a late spring break in Paris and enjoy top quality horse racing in Chantilly for the French Oaks, Le Prix de Diane, yet another prestigious horse racing event on the French racing calendar.

Chantilly is probably one of the most picturesque racecourses in the world with the backdrop of the magnificent 18th century château built by the Prince de Condé as stables and is now the home of the horse museum.

This delightful town, located about 30 kilometres north of Paris, is also the main French training centre with miles of sand gallops and horses standing in yards owned by Criquette Head and André Fabre to name a few. It is often referred to as the Newmarket of France and becomes the centre of the equestrian activity when the French Derby and the French Oaks are held here. This weekend trip allows you to spend a day in one of the most beautiful cities in the world and also see a part of provincial France at its best.

Our three night stay will be in
Paris at the Four Seasons George V Hotel. This establishment, ideally situated near the Champs Elysées, has become a firm favourite with the British punters and has been voted the best hotel in Paris for a number of years.

CHANTILLY

“For an ideal weekend away, come with us to Paris for racing at the delightful racecourse of Chantilly.”
